This session, Innovation within Food & Beverage: From Menu to Equipment, Carrie Eyler will take a comprehensive look at how clubs can stay ahead of the curve by embracing emerging trends, investing in forward-thinking equipment, and designing menus that reflect both creativity and conscious sourcing. Attendees will gain insights into sustainable practices, tech-enabled efficiencies, and data-driven decision-making that can elevate service quality and operational performance. Whether reimagining your culinary offerings or rethinking your kitchen's back-of-house functionality, this session will provide actionable strategies to meet the expectations of today's most difficult members while preparing for the needs of tomorrow.


During the second part of education session, Kelly Simons and Martin Tzankov will dive into the topic "Strategic Insights: Membership & Amenity Planning"  Are you contemplating enhancing existing amenities or expanding with new amenities? Do you have a solid understanding of how existing amenities are utilized? How can you gain insight into the financial impacts of enhancements or expansions, both from capital, operational, and ongoing maintenance planning? Do you have a deep understanding of your membership lifecycle and how they derive value from their membership experience?

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Carrie Eyler, Boelter Director of Business Development As the Director of Private Clubs, Carrie leads the club segment of Boelter from design to supply.  She focuses on business development, building relationships and championing customer success all through the vein of strategic capital foodservice planning within the private club industry nationwide.

 

She brings over a decade of organizational leadership and food and beverage operations management experience. Prior to her start with Boelter, she served as the Assistant General Manager of Interlachen Country Club in Edina, MN where she helped lead a team of more than 380 associates and took an active role in driving operational excellence and innovation across departments. Since joining Interlachen in 2014, Carrie served in several capacities and has been a part of more than $80 million dollars of capital improvements. 

 

Carrie's true passion lies in building and developing high performing teams and charting exceptional customer (member/guest) experiences ---particularly centered around food and beverage.  Carrie and her husband, Brian are the busy parents of three, Thomas (7), John (5), and Mary (3).

Kelly Simons is a GGA Director specializing in strategy, operations, and governance, bringing over a decade and a half of operational experience. She most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of an exclusive, private, 4,600-acre ski-in/out community in the heart of Park City, Utah. Under her leadership for over a decade, she provided a vision, strategic long-term planning, innovative problem solving, financial stability, significant organizational growth, and built strong external relationships. Kelly earned her MBA through the Executive Program at The University of Utah in 2022 while leading an organization full-time.

Martin is a Director with GGA with over 10 years of professional experience in the club industry. During his time at GGA Partners, Martin has worked with private clubs to navigate complex challenges through in-depth business analysis and deliver strategic solutions. Martin has extensive experience in membership data analysis and developing successful membership strategies at both member-owned and for-profit clubs around North America.
